What is the meaning of life, and what is life’s purpose?  This is different than “why are we here?” we could just be random cosmic dust or gods creation.  The “WHY” is less important in my opinion than the importance in finding purpose or meaning. 

First what the heck is FU money? You’ve heard the term thrown around.  Well it’s exactly what it sounds like. Pardon my French here, but the F stands for Fuck and the U stands for You!

 So FU Money = Fuck You Money

 Basically, FU Money is when you have enough money to not be bound to a toxic work environment or a boss you hate.  You have the power to walk away relatively stress free, or if the company unexpectedly laid you off you’d be just fine.  In other words, you don’t need that paycheck. At least not for a while.

Life is precious

Babies are miracles of life we say

But what is a life truly worth?  As I was donating blood the other day I had some time to ponder this question. 

We’ve all met someone or had moments in our life where we’ve been “Lucky”

We feel great in these moments, and we might even feel like our hard work, preparations, and willingness to put ourselves out there gave us the edge to get our lucky break. We like to feel in control of our destiny and that we have a hand in these moments of brilliance.

The following is to critique the goals of a popular method of wealth building called FIRE.

The FIRE movement [ Financial Independence Retire Early ] is not new but has become a trendy topic on social media and a draw to people seeking some financial security in a chaotic time. 

Everyone is talking about inflation right now and all the damage it can cause. After a close look at my finances and the economy as a whole, I’ve come to a realization. Inflation is necessary and can easily be managed at a personal level to ensure your spending power isn’t eroded.
